Good enough is perfect
-Joel Salatin
I really like my watch. It's just a plain old watch, but I wouldn't want any other. It's the classic, Casio F91W.
I bought mine three years ago in Costa Rica for $12, I could probably buy it at Canadian Tire for the same price here.
Normally I don't give it a second thought, it's doesn't need much attention, but since arriving at Northbrook Farm, I've noticed that a disproportionate number of people working here wear one of these, five (5), counting me! The same watch has been around since 1991, and the design looks like it.
Products like this are rare these days; cheap, durable and good enough. They're practical, functional and there's no need to change it. This is why it's popular with the farmers 'round here; you just need something to get the job done well, not something flashy or expensive. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. There's probably something else broke that does need fixing.
