Me, Blogging.

Since creating this blog about a week ago, I've had trouble deciding what my first post would be. For the sake of just doing something, I'll write about the obvious; why I've started a blog.

Starting a blog isn't something I think many people, myself included would have expected from me. However my decision to pursue a life/career as a farmer has given me some reasons.

These are my motivations:
-I feel there is something worth writing and reading about in what I'm doing

-I want to keep in touch with friends

-I need to keep my family in Ontario better updated

-I want an outlet and a record of my thoughts about the topics listed in the blog's description

-I want to have conversations about successful farming with current friends
-I want to find new friends to join this conversation

-I want to establish a presence and a brand for the food I one day hope to produce and market

No promises, but just maybe we can get Jill to add her $.02 from time to time.
